By registering for and attending the Digital Youth Festival Africa 2025 (“the Event”), participants agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. General Conduct

• Participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly toward all other attendees, organizers, speakers, volunteers, and partners.

• The organizers reserve the right to remove any participant who engages in disruptive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior, without refund.

2. Photography & Videography Consent

• The Event will be professionally photographed and recorded for documentation, marketing, and promotional purposes.

• By attending, participants grant the organizers full rights to use their likeness (including voice, image, or appearance) in photo, video, and audio format for:

  • Social media content

  • Promotional campaigns

  • Future event materials

  • Broadcasts or live streams

Consent Clause:
“I hereby grant the Digital Youth Festival Africa and its partners the right to photograph, record, and use my image, likeness, and voice for any lawful purpose related to the promotion or documentation of the event.”

3. Data Privacy

• Personal information collected during registration will only be used for event logistics, communication, and post-event follow-up.

• Contact information will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent.

4. Intellectual Property

• All content presented by speakers, facilitators, and exhibitors remains their intellectual property.

• Participants may not reproduce or distribute content (slides, handouts, videos, etc.) without prior written permission from the content owner.

5. Liability Waiver

• The organizers will take reasonable precautions to ensure a safe environment, but are not responsible for any personal loss, injury, or damage incurred during the event.

• Participation is at the individual’s own risk.

6. Changes & Cancellation

• The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the event schedule, speakers, venue, or format due to unforeseen circumstances.

• In the case of event cancellation, reasonable efforts will be made to notify participants and process any applicable refunds or rescheduling.

7. Consent Confirmation

By checking the consent box or signing the registration form, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the above terms and conditions.
